Commissioning Consortium

The Brass Legacy commissioning consortium is the most important component of this project. Every year, we will commission four new compositions for brass chamber ensembles. These commissions will be exclusively distributed to Brass Legacy members immediately at the time of release.

 Each commission will be released on a quarterly schedule throughout the year:

  • September through November
  • December through February
  • March through May
  • June through August

University Partners and Chamber Partners will receive each composition that is released within their full year of membership, and Individual Partners will receive one composition of their choice within their full year of membership but can purchase additional compositions by contacting us.
